JSerra was among four to receive the 2010-11 Kenneth Fagans “Shake for Sportsmanship” awards, the CIF Southern Section office announced the recipients May 2 at Dodger’s Stadium.
JSerra Athletics exhibited “participation, enthusiasm, behavior at home and away games, treatment of opponents and treatment of the contest officials. Judging is to based not only on the student-athletes’ conduct, but also on the conduct of the school band members, drill teams, cheerleaders and student-rooting sections,” ultimately deciding JSerra for this great honor.
