Rick Young was named the new girls soccer coach at JSerra High, officials announced earlier this year.
Young comes to JSerra with over 17 years of coaching club soccer, which included time with the Slammers Futbol Club of Newport Beach.
He has won state, regional and national club titles, and has had over 100 players compete at the collegiate level.
“His energy, knowledge of the game and ability to inspire others provide him with the tools to effectively coach today’s athlete,” said JSerra Athletic Director Jim Hartigan.
